The Miniature Horses, Goats, and Donkeys

Baby 4-24-10

 |
I grew up in Pataskala, Ohio, which is east of Columbus. A
lot of my family still live nearby. I enjoy visiting with my
sisters and their families whenever we get a chance to travel up
there. Now my husband, three kids, and I live in beautiful
Gallipolis, OH along the Ohio River. |
 |
Education: B.A. degrees in Spanish and French Secondary
Education from Otterbein College in Westerville, OH |
 |
Taught in Gahanna as an intern at the
High School for a year, and then Gahanna Middle School East as the
Spanish and French teacher for eighth grade students. |
 |
I enjoy time with my husband and children, teaching Spanish
and French,
reading (although I did not as a child), sewing, crafting,
scrapbooking, piano, and
of course, writing. |
 |
My favorite types of books to read are mysteries (of course!) and
Christian fiction. |
 | Where do I get ideas for the mysteries? |
Newspapers - An article intrigues me, I cut it out, and then type it
into my computer file. I ask 'what if?', and then I
start wondering 'maybe'. The ideas take off from there.
 | Where do the ideas come from for the Matthew books?
|
My kids, nieces and nephews, all their friends, and my classes. Kids are amazing! |
