Bible Puzzle Book (Still working on a title)

I've always loved puzzles!  This is a natural avenue for me to try.  This book is for kids, ages 10-14, with all kinds of different types of puzzles based on Bible stories and verses, such as, fill-ins, crosswords, logic problems, mazes, and more.  It's been fun to develop while I wait to pick up my kids or at appointments. 

   Flat Caitlyn thinks this would be fun!

Idioms, similes, and figures of speech make up the fun of this picture book for 4th through 6th grade students.  Take a humorous look at the meaning of several of these funny English expressions.

Botas into Botes - An Abuelo Adventure (Complete)

Nieto (Grandson) and his grandfather, Abuelo, visit the zoo for an afternoon of fun.  Because Nieto’s grandfather has difficulty hearing, there are always more amusing events than expected.  Patos (ducks) become gatos (cats), and manos (hands) become monos (monkeys).

 This humorous picture storybook for children ages four to ten features a storyline in English interspersed with sets of highlighted Spanish words.  Each Spanish word in a set is only one letter different from its match; thus creating a totally new word and meaning in the Spanish language. 

Joshua's Big Adventure - (Complete)

Joshua is going on an adventure.  He is filling his backpack with all of the supplies he might need during his journey.  He even has his mom tie a rope around him, tight – but not too tight, so he doesn’t get lost in that mysterious place.  But, where is he headed that he needs a flashlight, a sandwich, and a pillow?  The humorous ending will surprise and delight young readers.

Erin Crocker is a new Christian on a search to discover God's purpose for her life.  This first adventure takes her to Bear Claw Mountain, where she meets her friends for a weekend of skiing.  There are two problems at the start:  she doesn't know how to ski, and she has to take her sister, who's suffered a recent break-up.  Join Erin on this humorous journey as she searches for her sister who's Missing on the Mountain.
